Code of practice for coated articles where the food contact layer is a coating - Edition 4 - 2/02/09

To compensate for the absence of uniform regulations in Europe, coatings manufacturers united within CEPE (Conseil Européen de l'Industrie des Peintures et des Encres) took the initiative of developing a code of good manufacturing practice (GMP). This 4^th edition of the guide updates previous versions (amendments to articles 1, 3, 4 and 5) with the aim of describing good industry practice to comply with the inertness principle described in EC regulation no. 1935/2004, so that coatings in direct contact with food do not present a risk to human health.
