On November 6, 2025, LNE will take part in the CEA PLASTnet / AXELERA - Industriels day "Advancing and innovating together: science-industry dialogue - Around the plastics of today and tomorrow"
This day will bring together researchers, industrialists and institutional players around four round tables devoted to the sector's major challenges:
- European regulatory developments
- From eco-design to Safe & Sustainable by Design (SSbD) and digital contributions
- New recycling technologies
- Bio-based materials and alternative resources
In roundtable 2 "From Eco-design to SSbD and digital contributions", Phuong-Mai Nguyen (LNE) will talk about the TwinLoop project (ANR-24-EMCO-003), which explores the safety of recycled materials in contact with food. This project illustrates LNE's commitment to supporting a safe and sustainable circular economy, by integrating chemical safety right from the design stage of materials and processes.
