Industrial guidelines on traceability of materials and articles for food contact

A European working group comprising Representatives from each of the food contact materials has drawn up this guide. The aim is to provide guidance to industry on how to implement traceability, in order to meet the requirements set out in Article 17 of Regulation 1935/2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
This guide covers the following materials:
- Wood;
- Rubber;
- Plastic materials ;
- Metals and alloys;
- Paper and cardboard;
- Regenerated cellulose film;
