A survey conducted by the DGCCRF reveals that in 2023, 36% of the establishments inspected showed anomalies in the marketing of materials and articles intended for contact with foodstuffs (FCM). Infringements mainly concerned plastics, paper/cardboard and inorganic materials, with regulatory limits exceeded and claims misleading to consumers.
