Presentation

Decree no. 2008/1469 of December 30, 2008 was published in the JO of 12/31/08. This decree supplements decree no. 2007/766 concerning materials and objects intended for contact with food. 3 articles have been added to make the link between EC regulation n°1935/2004 and specific French measures taken for parts of European legislation not yet harmonized. An article has also been added concerning the obligation to accompany materials and articles intended for contact with food with a written declaration of conformity in accordance with Articles 3 and 4 of Regulation (EC) n°1935/2004.
