The decree of November 25, 1992 sets the requirements to be met by materials and articles made of silicone elastomers placed or intended to be placed in contact with foodstuffs, products and beverages intended for human or animal consumption.
Silicone elastomers used for the manufacture of paper and cardboard in contact with foodstuffs, products and beverages are not subject to the provisions of this text.
