Regulation (EC) no. 2023/2006 of December 22, 2006

Regulation (EC) no. 2023/2006 lays down rules on good manufacturing practice (GMP) for the groups of materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs listed in Annex I to Regulation (EC) no. 1935/2004, and for combinations of these materials and articles or recycled materials and articles used in these materials and articles. The provisions of this regulation require the implementation of a quality assurance system for the manufacture, processing and distribution of materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. An annex is specifically devoted to good manufacturing practices for printing inks and printed materials and articles.
