The European Commission's working group on food contact materials (FCM) shared on the Commission's website the points discussed on May 6-7, 2024, concerning, in particular, the restriction of BPA (bisphenol A), the recycling of plastics, as well as updates and timelines regarding the revision of the FCM regulation. In the same context, the EC organized a webinar on June 14 to address these numerous topics.
