Regulation (EU) 2024/3190, adopted on December 19, 2024, introduces strict measures concerning the use of bisphenol A (BPA) and its derivatives in materials intended for food contact. It sets undetectability requirements for BPA in certain specific applications. This regulation repeals regulation (EU) 2018/213 and amends regulation (EU) 10/2011 on plastic materials in contact with food.
