Regulation (EU) 2025/351, adopted by the European Commission on February 21, 2025, introduces major changes to Regulation (EU) n°10/2011 governing plastic materials in contact with foodstuffs. It aims to strengthen consumer protection by specifying compositional, purity, traceability and risk assessment requirements for these materials.
