The EFSA Panel on Food Contact Materials (CEP) has assessed the safety of the additive "phosphorous acid, triphenyl ester, polymer with 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol and C10-16 polypropylene glycol alkyl esters" for application in polyolefins. This additive, a polymer containing ≤ 13% by weight of a low molecular weight fraction < 1000 Da, has been the subject of migration and toxicological analyses.
